Amidst a world where prayer requests seem to reach heaven more frequently than thanksgiving, it is always good to stop and do what sometimes seems hard to find in this world, in our circumstances.
Today, the United States celebrates 'Thanksgiving Day'. The meaning behind it is rich with history and today is a reminder to stop, if only for a day, to be thankful for what we do have...because we all have something we could be thankful for.
This year, at our little home, we have something a bit extra to be thankful for. It's been a big year, filled with many, many reasons to utter words of thanksgiving, but one managed to climb up to the top of the list. If you've been following our journey, you probably read the announcement we made in our Silence Part 2 blog post. Well, yesterday, was another big day for us, the day we got to find out the gender of our little miracle.
Yesterday, we got to see...
Ten little toes
Ten little fingers
A cute little face
A strong beating heart
But there was still more to see! And of course, we couldn't keep this news to ourselves. So without further adieu, here's what we're having!
We are 19 weeks and counting! And could't be happier and more thankful for this wonderful news! Happy Thanksgiving friends! And my hope is that today, you can stop long enough and find that something you are thankful for!
