It's a new week and maybe it is not starting the way that you envisioned but IT'S A NEW DAY. And with new days come new opportunities, new possibilities of things to be different. Begin today with a new hope choosing not to let anything else cloud the possibilities it brings. As Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote in this poem...
“Write it on your heart
that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day
who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”
So go live out this new day friend, with coffee in hand, and LIVE IT FIERCELY!
And remember this:
God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out,
his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.
They’re created new every morning.
How great your faithfulness!
I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over).
He’s all I’ve got left. (Lamentations 3:22-24)
