FMF: Exhale

It's 6am. It's me and this beautiful painting of creation. Everyday is new and unique. I look and look to see if I can find where earth meets this immense sea but with no success. And I'm reminded...

I'm too small and with too many limitations.

So I look up and see the radiant colors that big yellow ball has started to paint upon the endless sky. I keep looking and looking to see if I can find where the sky ends but again with no success. And I'm reminded...

I'm too small and with too many limitations.

I dig my feet on the cool grainy ground. I then look down and touch that loose granular substance. This ground which once was a solid rock now disintegrated into these tiny particles. And I attempt to count each loose piece but with no success. And I'm reminded...

I'm too small and with too many limitations.

Alas! the restrictions of these limitations.

I exhale. I breathe out. I let out the frustrations of such limitations.

Yes, I'm too small and with too many limitations, but He is limitless.
Though I cannot see the end of things, He can. He is the beginning, He is the end.
Though I cannot count each grain of sand, He can. Just like he knows each strand of hair attached to my head.

So I exhale. I breathe out. For I am safe in the palm of His hand.

And I'm reminded...

I'm too small...but He's got this. He's got me.

I'll be alright.
