I've been praying for friends this morning that are going through a difficult season in life. Most of us have been in a season like this at some point in our journeys. I know I have, and one thing I know for sure, one thing I've experienced closely, is that there are some situations when it is only by the grace of God that we make it to the other side and it's only when God intervenes Himself that we see Him carving out a path in desolate places because only our God can make a way where there is no way and in times when we feel all alone He is the only able to reach us, to reach deep down in our soul, to do in us and through this seasons in life what at the moment seems impossible.
So today, if you're going through one of these seasons, think of this, He can make a new way, a new thing and bring forth something good out of your situation.
I'm believing this for you today not because it's a nice thought to think or a nice thing to say but because I believe God can do it. I see it all over the Bible, time and time again, God making a way where there seemed to be no way. He did it with Sarah and Abraham-gave them a child when all the odds were against them. He did it with the children of Israel, over and over again, parted seas, delivered them from slavery, provided bread from heaven (literally). He turned Joseph's unfortunate circumstances into the most fortunate one in Joseph's life. So, yes! I believe God can do it because I've seen it in my own life over and over and over...And, there is no way He won't do this for you too because He doesn't have faves, He loves us all the same and is always ready to reach out to us.
Now it is your turn to grab hold of it and believe it for your own life and to declare it out loud as you face that mountain that's staring at you today.
"This is what God says,
the God who builds a road right through the ocean,
who carves a path through pounding waves,
The God who summons horses and chariots and armies—
they lie down and then can’t get up;
they’re snuffed out like so many candles:
“Forget about what’s happened;
don’t keep going over old history.
Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new.
It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it?
There it is! I’m making a road through the desert,
rivers in the badlands." (ISAIAH 43:16-19)
