Easter DIY :: Crafts & Decor

I was in charge of coming up with crafts for our church's Easter Family Fun. So here are the ones I ended up with in case you're still looking for some craft and decor ideas.

Happy Easter Chicas (and chicos)!

Bunny Mask

I found this on pinterest but I wanted to cut down on me cutting so  many little masks. So I remembered we had some masks left over from our Fall Bash. Perfect! Only thing I had to cut were the ears and in the gallery I show you exactly what I did so you can get the most out of your paper! They really are super cute!

Materials:

1 card stock mask (I used Michael's Creatology masks)

1 white card stock for ears  (8 1/2 x 11) -you will get four ears out of 1 card stock

1 pink paper for inside of ears (8 1/2 x 11)

Glue

Scissors

Black marker or pencil to trace ears

Cotton Balls

I got my inspiration from here and just adjusted it. You can also find other ideas on Pinterest.

Easter Eggs Ornaments

I found some really cute card stock cutout eggs at Michaels and they were on sale so I bought them. Why? I know I was going to have to decorate the snack table at our event. So, at 1am or so in the morning I had this revelation. I came out even better than I expected and they are sooooo easy to make. You can make your own from pattern card stock.

Materials:

1 packet of cutout easter eggs from Michael's (or you can make your own)

Jute Twine

Scissors

Stapler

Easter Eggs Garland

Since I had some  some of the card stock easter eggs left I decided to make myself a garland. I tell you...so easy, and so cute. Again, you can make your own easter eggs if you want with patterned card stock paper. Have fun!

Materials:

1 packet of cutout easter eggs from Michael's (or you can make your own)

Jute twine or white thin rope (like the one in the picture)

Scissors

Tape (I used double sided b/c its all I had on hand)
